# How do you Convert Fahrenheit to kelvin?

## Fahrenheit Conversion Kelvin?

### Fahrenheit conversion Kelvin

Fahrenheit conversion Kelvin is listed here.Fahrenheit and Kelvin are two common temperature scales.Fahrenheit scale is used in the United States, while the Kelvin is an absolute temperature scale used worldwide for scientific calculations.

While you might think that this conversion would not happen much, it turns out that there is a lot of scientific and engineering equipment that uses the Fahrenheit scale! Fortunately, it is very easy to convert Fahrenheit scale  to Kelvin scale.

### Fahrenheit conversion Kelvin Method # 1

1. Subtract 32 from the Fahrenheit temperature.
2. Multiply this number by 5.
3. Divide this number by 9.
4. Add 273.15 to this number.

The answer will be the temperature in Kelvin. Note that if the Fahrenheit has diplomas, Kelvin does not have any.

### Fahrenheit conversion to Kelvin Method # 2

To perform the calculation you can use the convertion equation. This is especially easy if you have a calculator that allows you to enter the entire equation, but it’s not difficult to solve by hand.

K = (T F + 459.67) x 5/9

For example, in order to convert 60 degrees Fahrenheit to Kelvin:

K = (60 + 459.67) x 5/9

K = 288.71 K

### Fahrenheit conversion table in Kelvin

You can also estimate a temperature by searching for the nearest value on a conversion table. There is a temperature where the Fahrenheit and Celsius scales read the same temperature . Fahrenheit scale  and Kelvin scale  read the same temperature at 574.25 .
