Each cell in our body contains two compounds of genetic materials, namely deoxyribonucleic acid, which is known for short as DNA, and ribonucleic acid, which is known as RNA.
These two compounds are responsible for reading and storing the genetic information of every human being.
And are responsible for producing new body cells and producing the protein necessary for life.
That both acids contain genetic materials and are linear polymers consisting of sugar, phosphates and bases, but there are a set of main differences between them.

The difference between DNA and RNA functions
When we look at both DNA, we find that they have two functions. In the short term they encode all our genetic information and act as a printer that produces the genetic life of our cells.
In the long term DNA acts as a storage device similar to a drive (flash memory) or flash memory that transmits that Genetic information is from one generation to the next.
RNA is a function of reading and decoding the information in DNA in a multi-step process.
Ribonucleic acid RNA is divided into several parts, the first of which is Messenger RNA (mRNA), which copies the parts of the genetic code.
And transfers those parts to the ribosomes, which are cellular factories that produce proteins from those genetic codes that have been copied.
The other part of the ribonucleic acid is called Transfer RNA (tRNA), and its function is to bring in the amino acids.
That are the building blocks of the protein in our cells and transfer them to the cellular factories (ribosomes) as required
In the instructions for the messenger RNA, and this process is called translation in which the protein is constructed .
Ribosomal RNA rRNA is the main component of the ribosome plant and without it the protein would never be produced.

Differences between DNA and RNA structure
Both DNA and RNA consist of subunits called nucleotides, but DNA consists of two strands arranged together in a double helix, while RNA consists of only one strand.
The nucleotides in DNA contain 5 molecules of pentazone, a nitrogen base and a phosphate, while RNA is made of shorter strands and sometimes forms a temporary helical structure.
As for their genotype, they both contain sugars, but DNA contains a type of sugar called deoxyribose, and RNA contains ribose sugar molecules.
When comparing the stability of both, we find that DNA is more stable because of its structure, which contains a hydroxyl group that contains one oxygen molecule less than the oxygen in RNA.
And that RNA is more resistant to damage than DNA, and the main difference between them is That DNA is mainly present inside the cell nucleus with a small amount of it in the mitochondria.
While RNA is formed inside the cell but then it moves to designated places within the cytoplasm.
